been a resident for almost 2 months and we love it! this is my first apartment so the leasing agent, jace, was super helpful during our application process and move in. our bedroom is super spacious with the perfect amount of closet space! super convenient having the walmart right behind the complex, a gas station and a coffee shop right next to us. love it here!

Lera was amazing helping us with the touring, leasing, signing of the place. She's super communicative and will email back so quickly, no matter the question! Lera also made sure we got our applications and lease pushed through quickly so we could move in ASAP. We got a really good deal on our place, but it is still rather expensive with fees, so watch out for those. Ultimately I'm very excited to live here, but I will update this review on move out! :)

We've loved living here! The location could not be more perfect sitting right next to the free way entrance, but we still feel pretty safe and secluded. We've taken full advantage of the amenities as well, including the pool in the summer, hot tub in the winter, and all the fun little resident competitions and engagements such as the Halloween door decorating contest! :) The parking isn't the best if you live with 2+ people because they only offer 1 covered parking spot at $35 a month, with no option to purchase extra. This can be challenging during the winter, but not bad at all in the summer. Even with that in mind, still a five star + apartment considering the cost, location, amenities, and overall comfort and vibe. Thank you guys!

I can't speak highly enough of one of the office managers, Lera. I'm moving to SLC from Dallas and she was most helpful in finding an apartment for me. Unfortunately circumstances changed and that unit was no longer available to me. She tried hard to find another accommodation but we couldn't make it work out. Lera was always cheerful and so helpful. I have no reservations giving giving Lera and Lisa 5 stars. They are truly customer oriented.

Foothill has such beautiful apartments! It’s such a prime location close to the city and then the canyons so the price is worth it. Plus the office staff really pays attention to details and I appreciate that they take care of all of their residents as fast as they can. It’s hard to see other reviews making negative reviews of things out of managements control but really they do the best they can within their control. Love the dog park too!

We’ve been living at Foothill Place for 5 years now. The apartments are quiet and the office staff is very friendly and helpful. Our dog bolts for their office anytime we go outside to get his complimentary dog treats they offer. Only hope is that they get the second pool open for the summer as it can get crowded at the main pool. Overall, great place to live.

It's about the same size as my old place, but somehow the floor plan just makes it seem so much bigger. There are a couple things that bother me, but the baseline satisfaction with my apartment is enough that it outweighs the things that aren't quite what I want. The doorways for the bathroom and closet are super narrow, although the bedroom door is fine, so keep in mind that some mobility aids might not fit through

EDIT: This problem has been resolved! The Property Manager Marissi was extremely courteous and helpful in getting this taken care of. Thank you to Foothill Place office staff for your help! The apartments themselves are pretty decent. I am having issues with billing. Foothill Place charges all residents a $35 parking fee to reserve a covered carport. Fine, cool, I'm happy to pay for covered parking. The issue began when the complex decided to begin construction on the carports in early January. My carport was demolished, and a new one has not been built yet. It has now been two months without a designated covered carport, and they are still expecting me to pay the $35 fee for a service they have not provided. My car has been absolutely dumped on with snow, and I've had to look for street parking several times. Now they are saying they will charge me late fees if I don't pay for parking (which again, they have not furnished).

Well maintained apartments with friendly staffs. We are staying here for less than a month. The apartment is a very cozy, spacious, with nice neighbors. The place is very close to Walmart, restaurant, clinics, and schools. This is a perfect place for a family with school-age kids. The place really great and we love to stay here.

We’ve been living in foothill place apartments for 3 years and recently renewed our lease. It’s not a cheap option but it’s worth it if you can afford it. The office people are always nice and helpful, same with the maintenance crew. Amenities are really nice and the apartments are spacious and generally in good condition. The one thing that could improve is their packages system as sometimes packages will get lost, but it’s more on delivery companies than the complex itself

So far so good! We really love the remodeled townhomes they are spacious and very nicely redone. I love that there is no carpeting (only on stairs) which is so lovely! The countertops are my absolute fav as well as the premium flooring. The facilities and grounds are very clean and well maintained and even have a mini dog park for the pups to run around. If you own dogs and are looking for spacious grounds to play this is the community for you! Highly recommend !!

PROS: Good size dog park, decent gym, very nice location (between downtown and South salt lake and park city making its location close to everything), nice pool and hot jacuzzi, they really do preventive maintenance and peaceful neighborhood. Always felt safe walking my dog even at night. CONS: expect fees for everything before and after moving in and out of the apartments. They are not hidden fees and they will layout everything to you when you sign it. Expensive late fees for not paying on time and the parking can be hard to find but I was always able to park around the apartments. Like all other apartments, you can hear some of your neighbors upstairs and you just can't get away with some of your not so nice neighbors smoking (even if its not allowed) and dumping their cigarette in the drain and eventually smelling it in your bathroom sink. Basically, I would say because it is a commercial apartment, there are a lot of policies to follow, number guests allow per unit and etc. to keep everything in order. If you don't use any of their amenities, I personally think it would be too expensive to live here other than that, it was pretty okay and had a comfortable time staying here before we bought a townhome and eventually moving out.

Raquel particularly has been extremely helpful. Also the community here is really cool with lots of interesting neighbors and lots of nice pups you can meet on potty walks. Also within walking distance of 2 EV chargers! Like nearly everywhere it seems, rent increases annually are steep. We didn't want to change units but had to move to a smaller one as we were given a notice to vacate (on our main winter holiday no less) so they could renovate and jack up the price. This was frustrating and I sustained an injury moving. I get that it's a business and they want to milk every square foot for profit, but these are our homes as well and I wish a little more courtesy was supplied in that regard. I'm hoping they let me stay in this unit for more than a year and I don't have to move to accommodate profit again anytime soon. Also, the frequent water outages are very frustrating and we've been told they cannot possibly notify us. Fo 2k/mo I expect some of that money to be invested in an SMS notification infrastructure to make such notifications possible.

We moved in about 3 months ago and really like the location of this complex. All of the staff we have worked with are extremely friendly and helpful! We have primarily worked with Daniela, who has been great. Any maintenance orders we put in have been addressed in a timely manner. One bummer is the covered parking spot we pay for is not really convenient for our apartment location. This isn't the case for everyone, it depends on your unit. Just know there could be a bit of a trek if there are no available uncovered spots. The amenities are great and well kept. Very dog friendly! We hardly ever hear the other tenants in our building. I also love that you are allowed to hang shelving use nails on the wall for decor to really make it feel like home.

My girlfriend have lived here for over a year, and just renewed here for another year. We absolutely love it. The pools and hot tub are nice, the grounds are well taken care of, and its in a good location for downtown and the mountains. We love our townhouse layout, and rent did not increase much when we resigned which was nice. Raquel R. at the front desk has been nothing but great to my girlfriend and I. After our first visit over a year and a half ago, she learned our names and now always greets us like we're friends. She is always welcoming and willing to help with whatever the situation may be. 10/10 recommend living here.

We have been living in these apartments for over a year now and hadn't had any issues with anything until this Spring when the Sprinklers came on for the season. We had water leaking into the master closet and it would come and go. It was a huge mystery as to why. I spoke with the Assistant Manager, Raquel, and she was very kind and allowed me to contact her directly when this started. She stayed in contact while maintenance was figuring out the why. She was very prompt about sending the right people out when needed. We also recently had a washer and dryer installed and there was a lot of different people that needed to come to do different parts of the rebuild for that and Raquel was very kind and always let me know when to expect different individuals and their individual projects. We now have a new washer and dryer installed and the leak was fixed at the same time. I am so appreciative of Raquel going out of her way to be available for questions or concerns. She has done a great job as the assistant manager. With all of the many apts here in this complex, she makes sure you don't feel like just an apt number but you feel heard and she always does it with kindness!

I moved in about a month ago, so far have had a great experience the whole way. During the tour they were very up front about rent and fees, more amenities than I was expecting. Parking at the office isn't always easy, but parking near my apartment is never a problem. Maintenance was very responsive and fast even over small fixes like a screen door that didn't slide very easily. Staff have been great and Raquel especially has been very helpful. And the other residents have been friendly and respectful.

Top Notch Office/Leasing Staff! Specifically, we'd like to recognize Raquel Ryan. From the time we began our quest for an apartment in the Salt Lake area this spring, Raquel has gone above and beyond to help identify our needs and find appropriate and suitable accommodations for our situation. In the months before our scheduled move-in date, she was consistent and intentional about keeping in touch with us about the status of our future unit. We had selected and secured/reserved a unit that was scheduled for a renovation so there were a few more moving parts than a traditional lease with a traditional move-in date. And with the pandemic, sometimes supply chain issues can interrupt that process and the variables even more. She was diligent in communicating regularly with her renovation team and reporting any possible delays or complications to us. As far as the lease agreement goes, and other account and billing questions we had, she was always quick to respond to questions and seek answers or clarify any agreement/lease terms we didn’t understand. Her extensive knowledge and experience in working in lease agreements and contracts was evident and very much appreciated. I just moved in a week ago with my roommate into one of the townhouses and it’s amazing!! We love it so much and Matthew in the leasing office has been exceptionally helpful through everything. They are extremely quick with responses, getting maintenance orders in, etc. The apartments are super cute inside. Be prepared to bring lamps though because most bedrooms/living room areas don’t have a ceiling light. Our hallway is super quiet, cant hear anyone when inside our unit. The parking gets filled up quickly but there’s still ways to make it work. I love being able to call this place home 💛

Location, Location, Location! Foothill Place has a great view of Salt Lake City, is extremely close to a cyclist/pedestrian trailhead and has instant freeway access without the noise. Definitely $$$$$/5. The Leasing Office Staff is great about enforcing the rules so you can enjoy the many amenities Foothill Place has to offer. Same can be said for pet safety and practices. It is not a very child friendly complex (no playgrounds) however that is something I appreciate. I work odd hours and quite hours are respected and enforced. Snow removal is punctual and the complex is well lit at night. I enjoy living here and look forward to the pool reopening.

The maintenance team is great, friendly, and wears masks when entering the property to fix things. There are no hidden fees, it is all in the lease and the staff member who helped us move in gave us the exact amounts and such for all the fees aside from rent, but it is a bit pricey. The parking sucks, but that’s just apartments in general. It is a dark apartment unless you get lamps for all your rooms, which they told us to do ahead of time so there was no surprise there either. Most of the neighbors are very kind, but my only complaint is there are some who do not understand what living in an apartment entails. We live above a family who constantly bangs on their ceiling when we walk around at night or our dog growls. It does not help bring the noise down, it just scares our dog and makes us too paranoid to live comfortably in our apartment we pay close to $2,000 monthly for. Overall we do love it here, maybe we would more if the parking and “neighborly” situation was better.

It's a peaceful community with a great staff! I feel safe living here as well, it's a great location with security. The landscaping is beautiful and the they have a giant dog park.. which is amazing!

I honestly love living here! I wanted to leave a non-bias honest review to address some things. For example, in regards to the fees that add up; You have to actually READ the lease contract BEFORE you sign it and decide to move in. If you don't like the terms, don't move in, simple as that. I was well aware of the extra fees such as the parking before I signed so nothing took me by surprise. Another thing, about the water shut offs- they notify you well in advance when the dates and times are so that they can do repairs in the building. Just plan accordingly. All the alleged issues are common sense, not rocket science. Another thing, this is not a brand spanking new apartment place but it is very well maintained from what I can see. Also, as long as you pay your rent and bills on time (they give you extra time to pay it too by the way) when they are due, you should never have a problem. In my experience, management and staff are very friendly, professional, down to earth people like you and me just doing their job. They are not responsible for your negligence if you're late on rent and will simply follow the protocol. It goes both ways, you do you part, they will do theirs. With that being said, you should have no problem as long as you pay your bills people! It truly is a peaceful, quiet, dog friendly place! People make friends and do dog play dates at the dog park its super cute! My neighbors are young families, college students and mostly working professionals. I feel safe, comfortable and at ease living here. Do I recommend Foothill? Most definitely. I'm glad I made the choice to live here. :)

Honestly, this place is great. They are really quick to fix issues, and great at notifying the community about work being done or security, or whatever. They let you make the space your own! Which is so awesome! We got to put shelves in, mount our TV, all sorts of modifications to make the space feel like it was ours. I love the pet friendliness above it all! It’s so nice to see so many puppers around and get to interact with other tenants and make bonds. I’ve never had that in an apartment before. The amenities are sweet - dog park, DOG BATH!, gym, pool and hot tub - plus the package lockers so your things don’t run the risk of getting taken off your doorstep (which doesn’t usually happen anyway because you need a key fob to get in). I would recommend this place for sure.

We just moved in a few weeks ago and we are absolutely loving life here! The staff is so friendly and always ready to help. The apartment is beautiful and we just got our washer and dryer installed which is awesome. People who complain about foothill apartments don't know how good they have it. My last apartment in downtown slc cost about the same amount and had bugs crawling everywhere and poor management. Foothill is a breath of fresh air and we intend to live here as long as we can! Also, our dog feels like a king here--he loves going to "his" own dog park everyday.

Moving here has been so easy. Brittney is amazing - she has answered every question I have had extremely promptly. A few plugs were broken when we moved in but maintenance people came by the SAME DAY that I brought it to their attention... The grounds are super well kept. Its pretty quiet, but we are young and a little bit of noice from neighbors doesnt bother us too much. Reading other reviews about this place made me nervous but we are happy here so far. Rent is expensive but no worst than any other complex in the valley & we feel like we have a lot of space for the amount we are paying.

I've lived here for almost 4 months and am very happy renting an apartment at Foothill Place. The onsite staff is very helpful and friendly. They are attentive to my questions and are willing to make any repairs quickly - usually the same day. They have a clean up crew that comes by every morning and spruces up the grounds so it looks presentable at all times. This winter, the walks were shoveled and salted in a timely manner as well.

Maintenance is quick. Management is always available. Apartments have been updated and are spacious. Prices are reasonable considering the great location. Less than 10 minutes from the UofU, 15 from Park City, 10 from downtown, and plenty of good hiking trails just across the street. People can be very harsh when reviewing apartment complexes. Nothing will ever be as good as having your own home that only you can manage. Paying a mid-level price for a good place to live with lots of amenities is a win in my opinion! I have and will continue to recommend friends to move here.

Reading all the negative reviews, I'm wondering if I live in the same apartments as they do. I have been here 2 years and vacating in January 2017 to move out of state. I will be sad to go. I love it here, my apartment is beautiful, the landscaping is beautiful. THe only complaint i would have is the noisy pool parties in the summer, but my apartment is directly across from the pool so I expect loud parties in the summer. Noise isnt a problem, lots of room outside, a dog park 2 pools, a gym and a staff that cares and a maintenance staff that is quick to act and fix. This apartment sets the standard for how apartments should be. I will miss this place.

Through my time here as a resident I would say that my overall experience has been a good one. We've had no maintenance issues but one, and it was fixed that same day. The apartments are pretty nice and I feel are okay to fair for the price. However what has impressed me the most with this place is the staff. Specifically Taylor and Hayle, Taylor has always been willing to work with me on my rent and arrangements which has been the biggest relief and satisfaction. I'm a youn college student and life happens, she understands this and like I said is always willing to help.

My experience at Foothill so far has been very pleasant and positive. 1.The apartments are large, clean, and the facilities look very new (they were built in the 70's, can't believe the facelift they gave the place turned out so good!) 2.Great amenities: 2 pools, a hot tub, a 24/7 gym (small but clean and w new equipment!) 3. Large, fully staffed office! This is one of the biggest advantages to me. If you have any problems, questions, or maintenance requests, the office is always open/willing to help all day, till 6PM. Also open for a bit on saturday. Once my AC broke, and it was fixed within 2 hours! I can't overstate how great it is to have maintenance requests filled same day! 4. The application process was fairly simple. There were a few other places that were complete dumps, and their application process made it seem as if they were a rich gated community. There's this guy Ken that works at the office that is way nice and helpful/cool. 5. Quiet. I almost NEVER hear any neighbors. The walls are thick, and I never hear any "thuds" or creaks from the guys above me. The only time I can hear any faint noises is if I go into the bathroom and the guy above me is also in the bathroom. As of right now, I can't think of any negatives. I guess the non-refundable deposit was a little annoying. As I continue to live here, if any substantial negatives start popping up, I will update this review.

The application process was fairly simple. There were a few other places that were complete dumps, and their application process made it seem as if they were a rich gated community. There's this guy Ken that works at the office that is way nice and helpful/cool. 5. Quiet. I almost NEVER hear any neighbors. The walls are thick, and I never hear any "thuds" or creaks from the guys above me. The only time I can hear any faint noises is if I go into the bathroom and the guy above me is also in the bathroom. As of right now, I can't think of any negatives. I guess the non-refundable deposit was a little annoying. As I continue to live here, if any substantial negatives start popping up, I will update this review.

I enjoy this place. It may not be a 5 star resort, but you aren't paying for a 5 star resort. It would seem to me that most of the people who leave bad reviews had some bad experience or have no people skills. I have always found the management to be very kind and reasonable and maintenance is always done extremely promptly (often the same day as requested). It is a little noisy, but that happens when you are in an apartment so get over it people (also the noise isn't bad at all). Amenities are nice and the place seems pretty full of good people. I also appreciate the location on the east side of town close to the sugarhouse district which is one of the safer neighborhoods. All in all living here is a good experience.

Good apartment complex with a great location. I've lived here for over a year. They've made updates to all the hallways and upgraded the dog park.

I didn't think it was bad. Don't lose the gym/pool key. It cost me $100 to replace. And don't trust the external closets to be completely secure. I guess security kind of sucks, but everything seems nice. I wasn't too bothered by it.

Foothill Place

I have lived at Foothill Place Apartments for 1 year... I haven't had any issue for the 1st year. I plan to stay until I finish school. The location you can't beat, close to the U of U & freeway access 2 minutes away. Only thing bad is the interior hallways, very dirty! They said in the newsletter this month that they will be renovating the hallways, but I haven't seen that yet. All in ALL it's a good PLACE:)
